Germany’s World Cup rout of Brazil was the most tweeted event in history

World Cup semi-final match generates the most discussion ever for a sporting event on the social media site, with celebrities and sportspeople galore offering their thoughts
Brazil’s 7-1 humiliation at the hands of Germany was the most tweeted about sporting event in history.
The dismantling of the World Cup hosts, which is already being hailed as the most humiliating episode in the history of Brazilian football, garnered over 35.6 million tweets, easily surpassing the near 25 million about the Superbowl final in February.
A new record for tweets per minute was also set during the semi-final, as over 580,000 tweets were posted when Sami Khedira scored Germany’s fourth in the 29th minute.
Miroslav Klose, who broke the all-time World Cup scoring record in the game, was the most tweeted about player.

The Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations, ifa) promotes cultural exchange to assist peoples, nations and religions in learning from one another and living together peacefully. One of ifa’s particular fields of interest is fine art. Ifa initiates a direct cultural dialogue by supporting exhibitions of works by well-known German artists all over the world, and by promoting foreign art in ifa’s galleries in Stuttgart and Berlin. The Rave Scholarships contribute to further practical training in realising art exhibitions.
The Rave Scholarships are available to young curators, restorers, museum technicians and cultural managers from countries in transition and developing countries. The Scholarship will be awarded to Applicants who fulfill the following requirements:
Who come from a transformation or developing country and are still living there; Who did not have the opportunity yet to come for a longer stay or did not have further training or working stay in Germany;
Who finished their professional training not longer than five years ago and are not yet over 40. Those still studying or training at the time of application will not be considered for selection; Who have found a non-commercial partner institution in Germany that has agreed to joint project, and developed together (German institution and applicant) a project sketch;

Who can provide a positive statement from their own country (reference).
Have knowledge of one of the English, German or French language.
The Rave Scholarship is a working scholarship and requires the holder’s presence. It includes the following payments:
A monthly lump sum of 1,300 € for a scholarship period of three to six months;
Travelling expenses (to and from Germany);
Monthly supplement of 250 € for attendance of the spouse;
Monthly children’s supplement of 50 € per child;
Health insurance (also for spouse and children);
German course up to 500 €.
To apply for the Alexander Rave Scholarships you need to have these application documents:
A fully completed application form;
A CV (3 pages max.), including educational qualifications;
A project sketch (1 or 2 pages) developed together with the non-commercial German institution – informing about tasks and responsibilities of the planned scholarship in Germany;
Invitation letter from the non-commercial German institution for the planned scholarship period in Germany;
A letter of reference from the home country;
An abridged report (2 pages max.) on the current art scene in the home country.

Has the Samsung Galaxy S6 just been outed?

According to several online publications that compare the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S6 possible, said that the new model Samsung phone will be a very powerful mobile devices.

Eurozone economic growth is expected to be 0.8%

The European Central Bank predicts that the economy of the 18 eurozone countries will advance slightly in the next two years.
Bank predicted that the eurozone economy, which together constitute the world’s largest economy, will advance 0.8 percent this year, 1 percent next year and 1.5 percent in 2016, all below the previous forecasts.
In addition the bank expects that the cost of living in the eurozone will grow slightly until 2016, and will stay below the 2 percent target for inflation that financial policymakers in Europe and the United States consider ideal.
Central Bank President Mario Draghi said that “the risks surrounding the economic forecast for the eurozone are negative”.
He said the bank has increased the preparations for the possible launch of new measures early next year to boost the eurozone economy.
European Central Bank can make massive purchases of government bonds to stimulate economic growth and inflation, as have acted banks in the US, England and Japan, which bought large quantities bill in an effort to promote the growth of their economies.
Direct support of the government has pushed the US economy, the largest in the world, towards a sustainable growth, but Japan has fallen into recession and Britain’s progress has been below 1 percent.
